Unmasking Pride Art Design Contest
The Los Angeles Museum of Love is proud to sponsor an Art Design Contest as part of the Pride Celebration month.
The design theme is UNMASKING PRIDE. The contest celebrates the dual alignment of the lifting of mask requirements in Los Angeles and the time frame of the annual Los Angeles Pride parade.
The artwork must be no larger than 18 by 24 inches and many of the entries will be displayed in the museum from June 9th through June 23rd. Guests of the museum will be invited to vote for their favorite two entries during their visit, with the winners being announced on June 24th. The top prize will win 500 dollars, second place 250 dollars, and third place 150 dollars and two special mentions that will be chosen by the museum.
If vetted to display in the museum, we will display your name and your social media and web contacts, so that patrons may view your work. The art may be submitted in the medium of your choice but must be easily displayable in the museum. If you are submitting from out of town, you may send us the file at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will print it at 13 by 19 inches or less according to your instructions.
The Los Angeles Museum of Love is an independently owned and operated museum space that creates interactive exhibits designed to foster social connections. It is located at 4320 Melrose Ave. Los Angeles. You will retain the rights to your work, and you may pick it up during a convenient time the following week. However, please note, we will be posting your submissions to our social media pages as a call for voting.
